Veggies Made Great in Port Reading, NJ, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform facility installations and repairs across carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related trades on a 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot with multiple departments, complete emergency repairs, inspect doors and loading docks, and help develop maintenance strategies.

Requirements include a high school diploma, English proficiency, up to 3 years' experience, strong mechanical and basic electrical skills,

Responsabilidades

Description

Perform facility installations and repairs as needed by department or determined through routine audits including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing (boilers, compactors, air handling unit, etc.) and light construction (walls and floor).

Work with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Complete emergency repairs as needed.

Perform inspection but not limited to repairing all buildings doors and loading docks.

Identify existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommend resolutions.

Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and departmental objectives.

May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Skills & Requirements:

Must have strong mechanical and basic electrical skills.

Have initiative to complete daily assignments.

Good customer service and technical skills necessary.

Experience with all hand tools and equipment.

Pay close attention to detail.

Possesses strong writing and verbal communication skills.
