Job summary

Whetstone Academy, LLC is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Direct Care Staff to provide overnight supervision for students at Mountain Rest, SC. The role ensures safety, structure, and continuity of care in a supportive environment, with a schedule Monday–Thursday 10:30 pm to 8:30 am.

The position offers evening/night hours, a pay range of $15.25–$17.54 per hour, and opportunities for professional development within a rewarding youth-centered program.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Background check must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct overnight supervision of students.
• Conduct regular rounds and document activities and events.
• Assist students with morning routines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Implement and adhere to program policies and procedures.
• Communicate with staff about student needs and observations.
• Respond to emergencies or behavioral situations.

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a3rd Shift Direct Care Staff. In this role, you will provide essential overnight supervision and support to our students, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a positive and structured environment. This is a vital role in maintaining the continuity of care and the overall stability of our program.

Schedule:Monday - Thursday 10:30 pm to 8:30 am

Pay:$15.25 - $17.54

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision of students during overnight hours, ensuring their safety and security.
• Conduct regular rounds and document student activity and any significant events.
• Assist students with their morning routines as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Implement and adhere to program policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other staff members regarding student needs and observations.
