Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker in Frankfort, KY is seeking a reliable 3rd shift Custodian for a temp-to-hire opportunity. You will work from 8:00pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Thursday, keeping facilities clean and safe while supporting office and industrial spaces.

Pay starts at $20.50 per hour with overtime currently paid at double time. Benefits include weekly pay, direct deposit, and available medical insurance options along with a 401(k) plan. Prior janitorial or housekeeping experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Comply with client’s substance abuse & background policy.
• Must have previous Janitor/Custodian/Housekeeping experience.
• Must have previous steady work history.

Responsibilities

• Keep facilities clean and in orderly condition.
• Maintain premises, lunchrooms, bathrooms, rest and working areas.
• Dust, clean windows, and empty trash.
• Sweep, vacuum, strip wax, wax, and buff floors.
• Window cleaning and organization of work areas.

Hours: 3rd shift: Sun-Thur 8:00pm- 6:30am (10hr shifts)

Pay: $20.50 ** Currently offering Double Time for any Overtime hours worked***

What you'll do

• Ensure facilities are kept clean and in orderly condition
• Maintain premises, lunchrooms, bathrooms, rest and working areas of offices of industrial buildings.
• Perform duties of dusting, cleaning windows, empty trash.
• Perform duties of sweeping, vacuuming, stripping wax, waxing, buffing of floors.
• Perform window cleaning, organization of work areas
• May clean grounds and removes litter.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Responsible for conducting all works in a safe manner.
• May perform other duties as requested.
• May participate on project teams as requested.

What we need from you

• Must be at least 18 years old or older
