Job summary

Mohawk Industries Inc. is seeking a Creeler in the Dalton, GA area to ensure a continuous supply of polypropylene yarn to the beaming machine. The role supports efficient package changes, creel operations and teamwork in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

The position requires reading and writing in English, basic math, and completion of on-the-job safety training. Weekend/overtime availability may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in basic math calculations.
• Successful completion of on-the-job and health/safety training will be required.

Responsibilities

• Keep yarn supply close to the creel to change packages efficiently.
• Remove worn packages and place full packages on creel.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running from all active spindles.
• Observe creel, stop machine if needed and run up breakouts.
• Assist operator in running machine and doffing rolls of carpet.
• Work within a team and perform daily autonomous maintenance.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Process and attend required training.
• Follow all SOPs and perform general housekeeping.
