Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Rafter Exit Table Operator in Kansas City, MO for the 3rd shift (5:30pm - 5:30am). You will operate forklifts and cranes to move steel tubing, assist with loading, and help maintain area cleanliness and safety.

Prior material handling in manufacturing is preferred; use of cranes and forklifts will be required. The role supports production and shipping, ensuring timely movement of material and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Material handling experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate safely.
• Ability to become certified for crane and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to move material around the facility.
• Load/unload material to staging areas and into trailers as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure workflow between work areas.
• Support production operations and assist with quality checks.
