Job summary

JAM Best One Fleet Service in Michigan is seeking a Tire Technician to perform fast, accurate tire installations on light, medium and heavy trucks, as well as agricultural vehicles. You will handle tire and wheel service, stock tire inventory, and, in the future, night emergency road service.

The role requires at least 1 year of tire technician experience, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 75–100 pounds, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tire technician experience.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Able to lift 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to stand, kneel and crawl while operating equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Position Overview

This position will be accountable for performing fast, accurate, high-quality tire installations on light, medium and heavy trucks, as well as agricultural vehicles. Services include, but are not limited to:

• Tire and Wheel Service
• Stocking Tire Inventory
• Night Emergency Road Service - Future Responsibility

This position is technical in nature and requires a large commitment and investment in personal training and development.

Requirements

• Must possess at least 1 year of experience as a Tire Technician
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must have a current valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Able to lift 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to stand, kneel and crawl while operating equipment and tools
• Must also be at least 18 years old
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
