Job summary

Snap-on Inc is seeking an Engineering Technician to generate CAD/CAM drawings and CNC programs from provided prints. The role includes post-processing edits, tooling knowledge, and strong Excel/Word documentation. Candidates should be skilled in reading drawings and applying GD&T principles.

The position is a 3rd shift (10 pm–6 am) with flexibility for the right candidate. Prior CNC and CAD/CAM experience is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Certificate or associate program in CNC machining or related field is desirable.
• Five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate CAD/CAM drawings from prints or sketches.
• Create CNC programs from CAD/CAM software and edit post-process outputs.
• Troubleshoot tooling, machines, and programming issues in CNC operations.
• Maintain CNC program data on servers and ensure updates are documented.
• Support manufacturing engineering and assist with fixture/workholding concepts.
• Read and interpret drawings, tolerances, and setup procedures.
