Job summary

DHL Express is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our CVG Airport facility in Erlanger, Kentucky. This 3rd shift role oversees cargo handling and ensures operations meet safety, quality, and customer requirements while coordinating with control, maintenance, and security teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in logistics with supervisory experience, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel. A BS/BA is preferred; willingness to work nights and manage 15–25 staff is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in logistics or related field preferred.
• BS/BA with supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Shift availability for 3rd shift; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates Hub operational activities for safe, timely processing.
• Implements quality control across operational areas.
• Ensures compliance with DHL policies and government regulations.
• Maintains records for volume, damages, safety incidents, and productivity.
• Communicates with systems operations control, flight control, maintenance, and others.
• Oversees loading/unloading of trucks, air containers, and pallets.
• Supervises 15–25 staff; hires, coaches, and develops team.
• Ability to work the 3rd shift.
