Job summary

PPG, Oak Creek, Wisconsin, is seeking a Batch Processor - Packaging Tier II for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM–7:00 AM). Salary starts at $25.14 per hour.

The role focuses on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment in a fast-paced packaging environment. Primary responsibilities include equipment setup, safe operation, maintenance, inspections, and supporting junior operators.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Must be clean shaven to wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up production equipment and supplies before job orders.
• Operate equipment safely for production processing.
• Maintain equipment in good condition.
• Inspect equipment for replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure capacity and quality.
• Assist junior operators in their tasks.
• Repair and clean equipment as needed.
• Evaluate equipment performance and propose improvements.
• Move equipment between warehouse and work area using trucks or industrial vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
