Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services currently seeks an Assembly Operator to join our team in Angola, IN. You will use work instructions to assemble parts and subassemblies and verify fit for final product. The role may involve hand and machine assembly with precise measurements and quality checks.

The 3rd shift runs 6am-2pm, Monday through Friday, paying $16.40 per hour. Applicants should have manufacturing assembly experience, be able to use hand tools, and pass background and drug screening; PPE

Qualifications

• Assembly experience preferred, specifically in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery with provided training.
• Quality focus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to submit to criminal background check and drug screen.
• PPE: Safety Glasses, Ear Plugs, and Closed Toe Shoes (NO STEEL TOES REQUIRED!).
• Lifting Requirement: 45lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
• Take precision measurements, as instructed, to ensure perfect fit of components
• Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications, as instructed
• Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
• Check output to ensure highest quality and efficiency
• Keep records of production quantities and time
