Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Furnaces & Heat Treat Chemical Process Operator to run heat treatment furnaces that process critical aerospace components. You will perform vacuum and partial pressure heat treatment to meet precise specifications and maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• English communication required to understand technical procedures and work instructions.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages are necessary.
• Ability to interpret charts, graphs and process data is essential.
• Experience in heat treat, furnace operations, metallurgy, or aerospace manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload heat treatment furnaces safely and efficiently.
• Program, monitor and adjust furnace cycles using process control software.
• Verify heat treatment parameters meet customer and engineering requirements.
• Maintain process documentation, charts and maintenance records.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and calibration activities.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Support a safe, organized, and quality-focused manufacturing environment.
