Job summary

Lowell Elementary in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a dedicated 3rd Grade teacher to implement district standards and create meaningful learning experiences. The teacher will deliver instruction, assess student progress, and maintain a positive classroom climate aligned with Mesa Public Schools goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certification is required.
• Prior teaching experience is required.
• Associate teacher, student teaching or practicum experience is preferred.

• Demonstrates knowledge of related subject matter, instructional skills and resource materials.
• Utilizes a variety of effective instructional and management techniques.
• Considers individual learning needs and abilities in planning lessons and assessments.

• Maintains positive classroom management and communicates with parents about progress.
