Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education from a PSC-approved college.
• Valid PSC-approved teaching certificate in the appropriate field.
• Special Education endorsements aligned with IEP requirements.
• ESOL and Gifted endorsements required.
• CTAE specialization or related endorsements.
• Pass the GACE Education Ethics Assessment.
• Minimum two years of verifiable industrial work experience.
• Industry licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant, subject matter-specific, and mandated curriculum.
• Plans and delivers instruction in-person and virtually with documented prep.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents via phone/email/video.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment for diverse learners.
• Uses technology to enhance instruction and collaboration.
• Monitors and reports student progress and attendance.
• Manages student behavior per policy and conducts conferences with families.

Education

Bachelor's degree in education (Georgia PSC-approved)

PSC-approved teaching certificate

Endorsements: ESOL

Endorsements: Gifted

Endorsements: CTAE

GACE Ethics Assessment

Two years of verifiable industrial work experience
