The candidate must hold a Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the assigned subject and level, and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, maintaining a productive classroom, and ensuring student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Experience with TEA requirements and accreditation standards is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and the times designated.
• Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media as appropriate.
• Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Evaluate student progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Assist in formulating and enforcing school rules and policies.
• Make yourself available to students and parents outside instructional hours.
• Attend and participate in faculty meetings.
• Cooperate with staff to plan instructional goals.
• Assist in selecting books, equipment, and other materials.
• Establish and maintain professional relations with others.
• Communicate openly with students and parents about academic and behavioral progress.
• Support professional growth through reading, workshops, and conferences.
• Accept responsibilities for co-curricular activities when compatible with teaching assignment.
