How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instructional programs aligned with company philosophy, goals, and adopted curricula.
• Create purposeful lesson plans employing effective strategies and maximizing instructional time.
• Present subject matter with real-world applications to enhance learning opportunities.
• Review student records to understand abilities and needs; maintain accurate records.
• Maximize each student's educational achievement using diverse learning modalities and differentiated instruction.
• Use diagnostic assessments regularly to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Refer students with suspected learning difficulties to support personnel.
• Coordinate class field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Stay current with subject matter knowledge and contribute to curriculum improvement.
• Assist in curriculum revision and selection of instructional materials.
• Identify and utilize supplemental services beneficial to students.

Provide a Classroom Environment Conducive to Learning

• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment suited to students' maturity and interests.
• Maintain positive rapport, demonstrate patience, and nurture student growth.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and safety, display student work, and enforce conduct policies.
• Develop and enforce classroom rules fairly and consistently.

Instructional Planning

• Develop and prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
• Design individual and group activities to meet instructional goals.
• Show evidence of lesson preparation and participate in curriculum planning meetings.
• Incorporate diagnostic information and IEP requirements into planning.
• Protect instructional resources and facilities.

School/Community Relations

• Establish cooperative relationships and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in parent communication and school activities.

Required Qualifications And Skills

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent; valid teaching certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of successful teaching experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of learning theories, motivation, reinforcement, and assessment techniques.
• Successful background check and adherence to ethical standards.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
