MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruction and Supervision of students
• Knowledgeable in classroom management
• Be a role model for students
• Write the outcomes of courses taught
• Attend conferences and workshops to keep current
• Focuses on finding solutions, is proactive, and has a growth mindset
• This position requires regular and reliable in-person attendance

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help monitor hallways and school grounds
• Be involved in after-school and extracurricular activities
• Keep accurate classroom records
• Work as a team member
• Has experience, or the desire, to implement ‘The Leader In Me’ ideals into our schools

TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS:

• K-5 Michigan Certification and Endorsements for appropriate grade levels are required. Must meet all of the NCLB qualifications
