Job summary

Palacios ISD invites applications for a licensed teacher to provide students with engaging learning activities in the core subject area assigned, helping them develop intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The successful candidate will implement district curriculum and maintain a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, collaborating with staff and parents, managing behavior, and supporting campus

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the subject and grade level.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Plan instructional strategies reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and use results for planning.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support IEPs.
• Work with staff to determine goals and methods.
• Plan and supervise instructional aides and volunteers.
• Perform 100% of instructional duties on Title I campus.
