Job summary

Responsibilities

Maintain competency in subject matter areas of certification and assignment.
Employ assessment to identify student proficiency and plan programs based on data.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community.
Promote District goals per the Board of Education Plan.
Participate in educational committees for professional growth.
Develop understanding of local culture and provide bicultural/multicultural instruction.
Utilize Rubicon Atlas for culture-based unit development.
Supervise and train instructional paraprofessionals as needed.
Adhere to district policies and professional standards.
Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans and keep digital copies.
