Job description

The Technician is a highly proficient, quality-focused contributor responsible for producing Pre-Operative Plans while meeting individual, team, and departmental production goals.

In this role, the Technician will convert 2D CT scans into detailed 3D models used by robotic surgical devices for knee, hip, shoulder, and other surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for computer software and enjoys working in a heads-down, detail-oriented environment. Training is provided, and candidates with backgrounds in 3D art, gaming, or graphic design are strongly encouraged to apply.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with some overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Review CT scans for conformity to required protocol.
• Segment CT Scan Data using specialized software to create 3D Anatomical Bone Models.
• Create Pre-Operative Surgical Plans for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Arthroplasty.
• Review CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy of anatomical landmark selection and implant sizing and positioning.
• Upload completed Pre-plans to field based personnel.
• Document all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures.
• Follow work instructions exactly to deliver consistent output.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite is required, candidates with experience in Salesforce or Materialize MIMICS and Adobe Photoshop are preferred.

Preferred (any of the following)

• College level anatomy course completion.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated efficient work methods and an ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
