University of Oklahoma Libraries is seeking a Student Assistant for the Digital Fabrication (DF) unit. The role supports research and instruction through 3D printing, 3D scanning, and VR/AR technologies, with a focus on learning emerging tools while assisting with course integrations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled Fall 2026 term at the University of Oklahoma.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral English.

Responsibilities

• Starting and monitoring 3D prints.
• 3D printer troubleshooting, diagnosis, and maintenance.
• Documenting DF projects for preservation/publication.
• Coordinating and overseeing VR/AR sessions.
• Assisting with course integrations.
• Maintaining DF VR equipment functionality.
• Developing 3D models for DF unit needs.
• Data entry related to DF projects and processes.
• Basic PC troubleshooting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
