Job summary

Fathom is hiring an Additive Technician - Polymers in Hartland, WI to produce 3D printed objects and prepare models for shipping. You will remove supports, inspect parts for defects, and ensure orders meet deadlines.

The role emphasizes post-build processing, packaging, and shipping paperwork, with a need for attention to detail and ability to work with hand tools. 3D printing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a similar role preferred.
• Experience in design for manufacturing and assembly preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to read and write English.
• Experience reading work orders and part drawings.
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload printed jobs and perform immediate post-build maintenance.
• Remove print supports and structures from 3D models.
• Load machines with materials and post-process for recycling.
• Prepare machines for builds and perform preventative maintenance.
• Remove supports using hand tools and grinders.
• Inspect, package, and ship orders when completed.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and tools.
• Communicate order details and non-conformances to supervisor.
• Update order details in MES (Streamics, Access).
