Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a hands-on 3D Print Technician to run Formlabs printers and support our engineering print farm. You will work with a diverse team to design experiments, characterize materials, and refine print settings, while keeping meticulous records of results and data.

You will edit Python scripts to optimize prints, perform 3D scanning, and help ensure production meets weekly quotas. A passion for hands-on fabrication and cross-team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating multiple 3D printers.
• Attention to detail to prevent nonconforming parts.
• Ability to edit Python scripts as needed.
• Interest in end-to-end print production from printing to shipping.

Responsibilities

• Operate Formlabs 3D printers and maintain print quality.
• Collaborate with scientists to design and run experiments and report results.
• Edit Python scripts to modify print settings.
• Assist in testing requirements, goals, and features for print processes.
• Support 3D scanning, data organization, and reporting.
