Job summary

Align Technology, Inc. is seeking a 3D Manufacturing Technician to join the Research & Development pilot line in San Jose, CA. You will operate 3D printing and post-processing equipment, ensuring quality and safety while supporting new product initiatives.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams, manage process records, and address issues with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role offers full-time hours on the day shift with potential overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator, technician, assembler, or similar role.
• PC experience in a work environment.
• Experience with 3D printing preferred.
• Experience in medical industry manufacturing preferred.
• Experience working in a high-performing team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering degree preferred.
• 2 - 4 years of directly related experience.
• First shift M-F 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with occasional overtime to meet critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3D printing equipment.
• Operate post-process and test equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems.
• Utilize solvents and resins for part manufacturing and machine cleaning.
• Maintain records, follow work instructions, and ensure safety standards.
• Communicate job status and machine status.
• Perform quality inspections.
• Package complete jobs.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and execute with a sense of urgency.
• Address issues with meticulous attention to detail.
