Clear Concepts, Inc. in New York City is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our private breast imaging practice. You will perform 3D digital mammography, work with radiologists, and contribute to early detection in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires ARRT certification in Mammography (M), ARRT registration, and at least two years of mammography experience; strong QA and MQSA compliance are valued.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State Department of Radiation Control license if applicable.
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
