Job summary

Appen Limited seeks a Data Annotation Analyst to label camera imagery, video, and LiDAR data for autonomous perception systems. You will work with specialized annotation tools, following detailed specs while balancing accuracy with production volume.

You will annotate 2D/3D objects, maintain segmentation and tracking, and apply guidelines. You’ll review QA feedback, document issues, and participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent interpretations.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive visual tasks.
• Ability to interpret 3D environments and object dimensions.
• Experience with image annotation GenAI workflows.
• Experience in fast-paced, scalable environments with targets.
• Experience with 2D/3D annotation tools.

Responsibilities

• Annotate 2D and 3D objects across images, video, and LiDAR point clouds.
• Create and maintain segmentation, object tracking, pose, and keypoints annotations.
• Apply detailed annotation guidelines including definitions and rules.
• Review work, respond to QA feedback, maintain quality standards.
• Document data quality issues with clear reproduction steps.
• Participate in calibration sessions and guideline reviews.
• Share observations to improve guidelines and edge-case docs.
