Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL seeks a radiologic technologist for the 3D lab to manipulate digital CT, MRI and ultrasound images on advanced workstations and to produce 3D volumetric renderings for physician review.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA approved radiologic technology program and at least 1 year in interventional, cath lab, CT or MRI. ARRT registration is required; CT/MRI certification is preferred. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• 1 year of interventional, cath lab, CT or MRI experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Allied Health or Health Administration with two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• ARRT registration required; advanced certification in CT and/or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the functions of the 3D lab to manipulate digital CT, MRI and ultrasound images on 3D workstations.
• Manage transfer of image data to and from the 3D lab workstations accurately and timely.
• Produce 3D volumetric images for physician review using appropriate software.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Allied Health or Health Administration

2+ years supervisory experience (preferred)
