Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Craft in New York seeks an experienced producer to lead the 3D and environments team. You will bridge the physical fabrication timeline with real-time rendering and spatial computing, guiding budgets and external vendors from concept to invoicing.
You’ll oversee a team of around seven, manage fabrication and AV partners, and drive creative production rooted in built environments. This is a senior, hands-on role aligning design and production strategies.
This is a build role for a New York studio that has grown from one person to sixteen, with plans to grow to seventy in the next 10 years. You would be joining early to shape how it works, not to maintain something already built.
The company is a family-owned American manufacturer, privately held for over sixty years, and the global leader in lighting control. This is an engineering-led business building a modern spatial and creative capability in-house, with the runway of a company that plans in decades.
You’ll run the operational engine of the 3D and environments team, the group behind trade show experiences, built environments, product and architectural rendering, and an emerging VR/AR capability. The distinctive part is that you hold two worlds together at once: the physical discipline of fabricators, installation schedules, and construction timelines, and the digital work of real-time rendering, generative tooling, and spatial computing.
You would lead a team of around seven, including the 3D Lead and rendering specialists, and manage roughly six concurrent external vendor relationships across fabrication, construction and AV integration. You own budgets from concept through breakdown, POs and invoicing.
$115,000 - $135,000
You have around 8 years of experience in creative production, rooted in the built environment, ranging from trade show builds and experiential installations to end-to-end exhibition and production design.
You have managed fabricators, exhibit houses and AV integrators, owned budgets, and led teams, and, crucially, you come from an architectural background and have a genuine curiosity about how rendering and real-time tooling have reshaped it.
