Job summary

MDS Staffing in Crystal, MN is seeking a 3D Designer to execute project tasks such as 3D modeling, 2D drawing generation, and coordinating framing systems for fabrication data. You will convert design data and provide installation instructions to support seamless fabrication and build processes.

Candidate should hold a professional degree in a related field with 0–5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with 2D/3D modeling software, MS Office, and PDF tools.

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction/Fabrication related fields.
• 0–5+ years relevant work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D modeling software.
• Familiarity with MS Office including Excel and PDF editing software (Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat Pro).
• Bonus: Rhino and Grasshopper proficiency.
• Bonus: fabrication/construction or structural engineering concepts.
• Bonus: project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute project tasks including 3D modeling and 2D drawing generation.
