Job summary

David Yurman invites driven students for its Summer 2027 Internship in New York City. The 3D Design Intern will join the Creative Visual Services team to develop design concepts, 3D models, and renderings for window displays, in-store installations, fixtures, and events.

Applicants should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or Fine Arts. The program runs June 7 – August 6, 2027, in NYC with hybrid work and a paid rate of $25/hour.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Rhino 3D or similar 3D modeling software.
• Familiarity with rendering software and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Strong visual sense of form, color, materials and proportion.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and realistic renderings for window displays and events.
• Prepare presentations, technical drawings, and design documentation.
• Translate sketches and direction into digital concepts and visuals.
• Research materials, fabrication techniques, and emerging design tech.
• Collaborate with Creative Visual Services and Visual Merchandising teams.

Set in the heart of NYC, interns will also have access to networking events, mentorship, and industry insights that foster professional growth in the competitive luxury market. **Program Dates**June 7 – August 6, 2027 **Title**3D Design Intern **Reporting Into**Project Manager 3D Design **Overview**The 3D Design Intern will support the Creative Visual Services team in developing design concepts, 3D models, and realisticrenderings for window displays, in-store installations, fixtures, and special events.This role offers hands-on experience translating creative ideas into compelling visual presentations while exploring theintersection of luxury retail, design, art, and material innovation.
