Albertsons Companies is seeking a Floral Department Manager to lead daily floral operations, deliver fresh product, and create memorable customer experiences. You will supervise a team, manage inventory, and coordinate seasonal programs while maintaining presentation standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily Floral Department operations with a focus on service, creativity, and readiness.
• Assist with product selection, custom orders, events, and consultations.
• Design, prepare, and merchandise floral arrangements, gift items, and seasonal programs.
• Execute division merchandising plans, seasonal sets, and promotional displays.
• Maintain attractive floral cases, tables, and displays with clear signage and pricing.
• Monitor plant health, hydration, freshness, and presentation standards.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, markdowns, and waste tracking.
• Oversee receiving, conditioning, rotation, and cooler organization.
• Build and manage schedules aligned with sales volume and labor targets.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop floral associates; foster a positive team environment.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, handling, labeling, and company standards compliance.

Main responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Floral Department with a focus on customer service, creativity, and department readiness
• Create a welcoming, customer‑focused environment and assist with product selection, custom orders, events, and consultations
• Design, prepare, and merchandise floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, and seasonal programs
• Execute division merchandising plans, seasonal sets, holiday programs, and promotional displays
• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing floral cases, tables, and displays with accurate signage and pricing
• Monitor plant and flower health, hydration, freshness, and overall presentation standards
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, markdowns, and waste tracking
• Oversee proper receiving, conditioning, rotation, and cooler organization
• Build and manage schedules aligned with sales volume and labor targets
• Hire, train, coach, and develop floral associates while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, handling, labeling, and company operational standards

• Union and Non‑Union : "The pay range is $21.06 to $29.10 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility)."
