Job summary

U.S. Army Reserves is seeking Military Police Soldiers to protect lives and property on Army installations, enforcing laws, controlling traffic, and responding to emergencies.

You will train in corrections, investigations, mobility, and security operations worldwide, with access to dozens of certifications and education benefits. Paid training, housing and meal allowances, and a signing bonus up to $40,000 are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete 10 weeks of training.
• Must meet tattoo guidelines.

ABOUT THIS JOB

***THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE***

As a Military Police Soldier, you'll protect peoples' lives and property on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations. You'll also control traffic, prevent crime, and respond to all emergencies. You'll conduct force protection, anti-terrorism, area security, and police intelligence operations. You'll also train in corrections and detention, investigations and mobility, and security around the world.

Skills you'll learn align with Law Enforcement & Security, Intelligence Collection, Corrections & Detention. In addition, there are 29 nationally recognized certifications available to earn!

REQUIREMENTS

• 10 weeks of One Station Unit Training & on-the-job instructions in police methods
• U.S. Citizen
• 17 to 42 Years Old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No Medical Concerns
