Piedmont is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Behavioral Health team. The role provides direct patient care and augments physician capabilities, including data collection, diagnostics, and therapy procedures.
Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Nursing (APN) or PA, Georgia license, and current ACLS/BCLS; 2 years Behavioral Health experience is required, with BH experience strongly preferred.
Performs a variety of patient care activities within Behavioral Health in accordance with established standards and practice. Augments a physician's ability to provide mental health services to patients; collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provides direct patient care services.
