Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join our hemodialysis team in a healthcare facility setting. You will provide direct patient care, operate dialysis machines, monitor vitals, and document treatments under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least two years of dialysis technician experience with dialysis certification. Ishihara color vision testing may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification or completion upon starting in unit.
• Minimum of two (2) years of dialysis technician experience.
• Dialysis certification required.
• Ishihara color blindness test may be required by role.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse, initiating and discontinuing dialysis per orders.
• Obtain and document pre- and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments.
• Set up, operate, and perform safety checks on hemodialysis machines; administer heparin as permitted by state law.
• Accurately document patient treatment details and prepare laboratory specimens as prescribed.
• Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and staff while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
