Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics Elyria, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist (Rotor Cell Team Operator Trainee) for 2nd shift. Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:30pm. Hourly pay $37.25 with a $1,000 bonus. Role involves learning rotor cell operations, setup of CNC/EDM machines, and maintaining cell inventory.

Responsibilities include ensuring part quality, performing program/tooling corrections, and documenting processes while rotating through workstations in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Wire EDM or CNC Grinder experience required.
• Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligibility Requirement: ITAR restrictions apply; US Persons may be required for access to controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC/EDM machines and other equipment in a rotor cell.
• Maintain cell inventory and equipment readiness.
• Verify program, setup, tooling and machine settings with supervision.
• Make corrections to tooling, programs and settings as needed.
• Inspect parts and ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
• Record data, rotate through cells, and support continuous improvement.
