Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a Production Tech in Indiana to ensure quality and meet deadlines. You will operate production equipment, inspect for defects, assemble parts, and monitor machines while following safety procedures in a potentially hazardous environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of production/warehouse experience, with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work as part of a team. Training in PPE and safety gear is provided.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

• Previous experience as a production worker or similar role in a warehouse.
• Good understanding of how production equipment works.
• Ability to detect potential problems with machinery.
• Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided).
• Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time.
• The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
