Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking an experienced Welder for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 1:30 AM) in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves welding components to engineering specifications, maintaining quality, and supporting Lean initiatives.

You will work with blueprints, production orders, and 5S practices to ensure efficient, safe operations. Responsibilities include data entry in SAP, TPM documentation, forklift operation, and collaboration with team members to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Proven welders able to perform basic welding tasks per procedures.
• Experience with 5S and Lean shop floor processes is a plus.
• Able to read blueprints and use standard work documents.
• Familiar with SAP data entry and TPM record keeping is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and weld materials per blueprints and work orders.
• Enter production data into SAP and maintain accurate records.
• Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools and inventory.
