ETS Staffing is seeking a Welder II for an in-person role located in Lafayette, IN. The position involves welding carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, reading blueprints, and maintaining high quality welds.

A test on-site will be required, with the possibility of overtime and a 2nd shift schedule. Ideal candidates have 5+ years TIG/MIG welding experience and are able to read technical drawings, operate a variety of welding equipment, and adhere to safety standards in varying

Qualifications

• 5+ years of TIG and MIG welding experience with carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and measurements.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and manual or electrical tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to assemble and fabricate metal structures with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and procedures.
• Prepare, fit, and align materials for welding using tools such as grinders, clamps, and tape measures.
• Inspect and clean welds to ensure quality standards and engineering specifications are met.
• Set up components and perform welding in various positions as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.
