Job summary

Daifuku North America in Hobart, Indiana is seeking a Welder for our 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm) to join our fabrication team working on heavy‑duty material handling systems. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year welding experience, be able to read blueprints, and identify exact measurements on a tape measure; high attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; certificate or Associate degree in welding.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machine that feeds wire to bond materials.
• Plan work by interpreting blueprints.
• Determine welding position and type of metal to be fused.
• Set up welding equipment and ensure welds meet standards.
• Comply with Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
