Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking dependable General Labor Associates for a busy distribution center on 2nd shift in Sycamore, IL. The role involves shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, material handling and other warehouse duties.

You will operate barcode scanners, pallet jacks and other equipment, load/unload trucks, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow safety procedures. Strong reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or general labor experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift or powered industrial truck experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and prepare products for shipment.
• Use barcode scanners and other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Receive incoming inventory and verify quantities.
• Move, organize, and stock materials throughout the facility.
• Package shipments using shrink wrap, banding, and proper stacking techniques.
• Operate pallet jacks and powered industrial equipment as needed.
• Assist with shipping paperwork and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory and follow work instructions.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily productivity and shipping goals.
