Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Addison, TX). You will unload and stage shipments, prepare inbound shipments for validation, and put away products using MHE.

You will pull orders, operate an electric pallet jack, and maintain housekeeping while following safety procedures. Prior warehouse/receiving experience and basic computer skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack and use a computer system to track inventory.
• Ability to follow instructions and work from written or digital directions.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
• Familiar with basic computer operations.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Prior warehouse/receiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Stage incoming shipments with MHE equipment.
• Prepare/breakdown inbound shipments for accuracy validation.
• Put away product into correct locations via MHE equipment.
• Pull orders accurately via paper/electronic orders and MHE equipment.
• Operate electric pallet jack and related material moving equipment.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performing duties.
