Ryder System, Inc. in Minooka, Illinois, is seeking a 2nd Shift Lead Trainer to guide warehouse operations and train team members. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a safety-focused environment.

The position requires leading teams, forklift operation, RF scanning proficiency, and strong communication skills. Shift is Monday–Friday 2:30 PM–11:00 PM with potential overtime and benefits starting after 30 days.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous team lead experience preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Valid forklift operator's license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (For Québec locations only)

Responsabilidades

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPI’s using appropriate leadership styles.
• Assist in providing orientation and necessary tools to perform jobs.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
