Job summary

Divcon Controls is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support receiving, inventory control, purchasing support, and order fulfillment for field operations and projects. You will work with technicians, procurement, and leadership to maintain accurate records and efficient material flow.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2pm–10pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of purchasing, inventory control, warehouse operations, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of basic inventory control processes and material handling procedures.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience entering data in inventory systems and spreadsheets.
• Clear written and verbal communication with cross-department coordination.
• Valid driver's license required.
• OSHA 10 certification required or training provided within first week.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, transfers, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Pull, stage, pack, and prepare parts for project, service, and field technician needs.
• Maintain organized storage areas, bin locations, and parts room areas.
• Receive inbound shipments, verify counts, report shortages, damage, or discrepancies.
• Prepare shipments, generate shipping labels, and maintain records.
• Assist with purchasing activities and supplier follow-ups.
• Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory counts.
• Participate in process improvements and maintain safe working conditions.
