Simon & Schuster, Inc. in Delran, New Jersey, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for our 2nd shift (1pm–9pm) in the distribution facility. You will support fulfillment by aligning paperwork, labeling, scanning, and preparing books for shipment.

You must be able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods, and safely operate RF devices and equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks; training provided.

Qualifications

• Understand and willingness to train on equipment such as Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Forklifts, and Electric Pallet Jacks.
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Ability to handle 50+ pounds and work at heights of up to 25+ feet.
• Careful attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Some analytical experience is preferable.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day

Responsabilités

• Align paperwork with corresponding labels for insertion into appropriate books.
• Scan labels using a computer.
• Process books through the SLO machine.
• Affix shipping labels onto packages.
• Proficiency in computer operation is essential.
• Ability to utilize an RF device is required.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated
