Job summary

Catania Oils in Ayer, MA is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (5PM – 1:30AM). Join a family-owned business with 125 years of experience in edible oils and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse operation.

Responsibilities include handling forklifts, RF scanning, and FIFO inventory management while supporting production lines. Requires 1+ year in warehousing, forklift/pallet jack certification, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification.
• 1+ year of experience in warehousing or logistics.
• English fluency (verbal and written).
• Experience with ERP systems and RF scanners is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely in a food-grade facility.
• Load/unload trailers and move materials using RF scanners.
• Supply production lines with raw materials and manage inventory flow.
• Follow FIFO stock rotation and maintain accurate records.
• Perform forklift inspections, battery maintenance, and cleaning.
• Assist with product rework, paperwork processing, and inventory.
• Support team goals and help coworkers during downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
