Job summary

NSI Industries in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate I for our distribution center on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:00pm–11:30pm) with overtime as needed. You will pick orders with a handheld scanner, move products with team members, and ensure accuracy during packing and shipping.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with WMS and shipping software, attention to detail, and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with WMS systems and shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (stand-up position).
• Finger/wrist dexterity for computer keyboard use or handling/packaging product.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders using a handheld scanner, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Collaborate with robots (cobots) during the order pulling process
• Transport completed orders to the shipping audit station for final inspection and packing
• Package and label raw materials into finished products
• Print labels for finished products
• Complete production paperwork, noting quantities and material used
• Assist in unloading ocean freight containers
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the work area
• Participate in physical inventories as required
