Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring for Warehouse Associates on the night shift in Ohio. Starting pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, with shift times typically 2pm or 4pm depending on position. Location is Glenwillow, OH, with a Sunday–Thursday schedule.

You will support shipping/receiving and maintain safe, efficient warehouse operations. The role requires high school diploma or GED, 6+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift 10–90 pounds, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, pallet wrapping and loading.
• Maintains safe, clean work areas; reports unsafe conditions.
• Conducts daily safety checks on forklift/pallet jack.
• Performs checks on received items and coordinates with supervisor for discrepancies.
• Replaces batteries and completes vehicle inspection checklists.
• Reviews production paperwork and prepares for operations.
• Wears required PPE and safety gear.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Associates Night Shift

Starting Pay between $17.50 - $18.50/hr (depending on position)

Shift: Sunday - Thursday | Start times vary depending on position (2pm or 4pm)

Position Purpose:

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse, Worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions activities within our warehouse.

The Warehouse, Worker performs shipping and/or receiving functions in a timely manner while maintaining inventory and warehouse work areas, observing all safety regulations, and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Performs general warehouse duties as assigned including but not limited to forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, tote stacking, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required. Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Performs daily safety check of the assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
• Performs damage control checks on items received and contact supervisor about removing items according to company policy.
• Removes batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist. Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Reviews work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
