2nd Shift Monday - Friday 12PM to 8PM

POSITION SUMMARY

Located at our Byron Center, MI location, the person in this position will assist with receipt, transfer, and storage of incoming freight, as well as picking and preparing orders for shipments in our Building Materials division. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Detail Oriented – Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock.
  • Equipment Usage – Using forklift trucks and order picking equipment.
  • Loading Products – Loading outbound transfer trucks.
  • Preparing Orders – Accurately pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipment.
  • Safety – Securing and labeling products for delivery.
  • Process – Transferring picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule.
  • Open Communication – Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehouse.
  • Teamwork – Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
