Job summary

Cretex Companies, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Swiss CNC Machinist I–III at our Coon Rapids, MN facility. Join a growing team manufacturing precision medical device components, with sign-on bonuses and a strong benefits package.

You will operate Swiss CNC machines, inspect parts, and ensure conformance to GD&T and blueprints while supporting continuous improvement and teamwork across quality, engineering, and production functions.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience, preferably with Swiss CNC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic math and shop math skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision medical components.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other inspection tools.
• Verify parts meet blueprint, GD&T, and quality requirements.
• Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments.
• Conduct preventative machine maintenance and monitor coolant, lubrication, and machine condition.
• Complete first article inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
• Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
