Job summary

C. H. Guenther & Son, Inc. in Caldwell, ID, seeks a Warehouse Team Member specializing in forklift operation on the 2nd shift (3 pm–11 pm, Monday–Friday). You will safely load, unload, and move materials within our food manufacturing facility.

You will perform pre-shift checks, maintain inventory records, and support packing, labeling, and general warehouse duties while upholding food safety, GMPs, and company policies. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Familiarity with GMPs and food safety regulations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to safely load and unload materials.
• Move materials to designated storage areas or production lines.
• Perform pre-operational checks on forklift.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Support picking, packing, and labeling as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse area.
• Report safety concerns or quality issues promptly.
