Join Walmart’s Republic, MO Central Fill Pharmacy team as a Staff Pharmacist to optimize backend operations in a highly automated environment, enabling retail pharmacies to focus on patient care.

You will provide leadership to pharmacy associates, manage inventory, perform prescription verification, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Relocation and licensure assistance are available; shifts include 2nd shift (3pm–3am) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or NABP equivalency.
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice.
• Experience in inventory management and prescription verification.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, automated environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and regulations.

About Central Fill Pharmacy Team

The Central Fill Pharmacy team is at the forefront of automation and efficiency, processing prescriptions for multiple retail locations. Our purpose is to streamline backend operations, allowing retail pharmacies to dedicate more time to patient care. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be pivotal in maintaining high operational standards and ensuring seamless pharmacy services.

Shifts Available: 2nd / Hours - 3pm - 3am

What you’ll do

• Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy associates, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain and track medication inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation and shrinkage control.
• Perform visual verification of prescriptions for clinical and legal accuracy.
• Adapt to changing production demands while maintaining high quality standards.
• Obtain and renew necessary pharmacist permits, registrations, licenses, and training.

What You’ll Bring

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 *This pay range is for a 40 hours/week schedule. Weekly scheduled hours are determined individually and the ranges for different scheduled hours are prorated based on the percentage of 40 hours. E.g., the range for a 36 hours/week schedule, which is 90% of 40 hours, is 90% of the above range. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy).
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Using and maintaining automated medication counting machines.
• Working as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital.
• Working as a licensed pharmacist in a retail environment.
